About flu prevention.

In accordance with beginning of epidemic season, the President of Committee of state sanitary-epidemiological control of the Ministry of Public Health of RK, the head state sanitary inspector of RK A. Belonog has directed telephone and transport massages to heads of agencies of state sanitary-epidemiological control of oblasts and the cities Astana and Almaty about ARVI and flu morbidity. He has assigned:

to strengthen implementations of antiepidemic (prophylactic) campaigns, especially at medical organizations, general education and preschool organizations and pay special attention to work of acute care stations;
– to activate work with mass media on flu prevention;
– to make flu vaccinations of the most vulnerable groups of population (weakened children, children of kindergartens and orphanages, adults with chronic diseases of lungs and heart, immune insufficiency, contingents of hospitals for advanced in years, medical workers, poultry factories’ workers and workers of private farmer poultry sectors),
– to guarantee: pharmacies’ readiness for the period of epidemic morbidity increase, presence of anti-influenza medicines reserve. In addition the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan was given with assignation of using of emergency station’s transport for conducting of sanitary-instructive work and organizing of instructive work by means of megaphone and radio cabin. Transport of emergency station has to be used for distribution of leaflets and booklets – instructions for population.
