According to the Decree of the Head of State, Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev was assigned as a Minister of Public Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

53-year-old Zhaksylyk Doskaliev, a deputy of Mazhilis of the Parliament of RK, a chairman of the Committee of social-cultural development, has been assigned as a new Minister of Public Health. Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev had already been holding a post of a Minister of Public Health of RK from October 17, 2001 to April 2004.
Zhaksylyk A. Doskaliyev, Kazakh, was born on November 30, 1955 in the town Alga of Aktyubinsk oblast.
In 1973 had graduated the secondary school N2 named after V.I. Patsayeva in the town Alga of Aktyubinsk oblast.
In 1979 had excellently graduated the Aktyubinsk national medical institute, specialty “medical business”. Began his labor activity at the Alga regional hospital as a surgeon. Then he worked at the same hospital as a deputy of a chief physician.
In 1988 had graduated clinical studies in the all-USSR scientific center of surgery of AMS of USSR.
From 1988 worked at the Aktubinsk national medical institute as a senior laboratory assistant, then – as an assistant of the department of general and hospital surgery. In 1989 had defended a candidate dissertation.
From 1993 to 1995 years had been working at the research institute of clinical and experimental surgery named after A.N. Syzganov, worked his way from a senior, leading, head scientific worker and, from the year 1995, managed with endoscopic surgery department.
In 1994 had defended a Doctor’s dissertation, in 1997 was awarded to status of professor, and in 1999 was elected as an active member of AMS of RK.
From 1998 to 2000 years had been working as a Chancellor of the Aktyubinsk national medical academy.
From August 2000 had been appointed as a Chairman of the Agency of Public Health of RK.
From April 2004 up to September 2007 had been working as a Chancellor of the Republic National Governmental Enterprise “The Kazakh national medical academy”.
From September 2007 has been a deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of RK, a Chairman of the Committee on social-cultural development.
From 1999 has been a member of the Republic national-democratic party “Nur-Otan”.
A laureate of National award of RK (1999), in 2004, according to the Decree of the President of RK, was awarded to the order “Kurmet”. In 2007 year was awarded to the order of M.Lomonosov.
Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev is an author of more than 200 scientific works, 6 monographs and more than 50 inventions.
Married, has two children.
