With support of the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place an official ceremony of awarding of competition winners with special grant in the field of medicine, promoted by the company “Sanofy-Aventis Group”.

The grant has been awarded in the nominations: “Diabetology”, “Cardiology”, “Oncology” for the projects and scientific researches, which had (or have) being conducted in the Republic of Kazakhstan, keep concrete scientific results and enable to made a considerable contribution in public health of the country. 28 scientific works were submitted for competition. Key specialists of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the fields of endocrinology, cardiology and oncology were involved in assessment of the works. There are three grants in every nomination. The first-place winner will receive 3000 US dollars, the second – 2000 Us dollars and the third – 1000 Us dollars. The Ministry of Public Health considers conducting of such competitions is a good stimulus for domestic medics-scientists. Undoubtedly, worldwide support of medical science on state’s part and creation of favorable conditions for scientific activity of public health system specialists will further development of domestic medicine and growth of Kazakhstan citizens’ health.
